There have been several Public Meetings to discuss the Future of the Civic Hall

Our aim now is to progress that support further with the help of the volunteers. Needs that have been identified include
Organisational development,
Gaining community support,
Support through technology,
Identifying skills required,
Communications skills,
Data handling,
Legal implications,
Financial skills
Needs and links to the Council who will maintain ownership of the Hall.
The means to raise the profile of the Hall in the Community will hopefully further the already keen interest locally in developing community needs and interests.

During 2022, after over two years out of public use, the Civic Hall reopened. The public can now make bookings for their regular activities or events. The NHS vaccination programmes at the Ramsbottom Centre are now concluded. Read More
